The Connective Corridor was a three-phase project in which 24 city blocks were fully reconstructed and subsequently connected Syracuse University to downtown Syracuse. An extensive green infrastructure was created that will harvest and manage 6 million gallons of storm water per year. The first phase won the Institute of Transportation Engineers project of the year. Barrett bid, won, and managed all three phases with HCSS products.
What makes it interesting?
The Connective Corridor is a partnership between Syracuse University, the City of Syracuse, and Onondaga County based on best practices in community revitalization and creative place making.
How HCSS Software assisted with this project
All 3 phases ($20 Million in total) were bid with HeavyBid and managed with HeavyJob. HeavyJob helped manage all time/cost/subcontractors as well as daily cost tracking. HeavyJob also helped track extra cost due to unforeseen obstacles.
