The Associated General Contractors (AGC) of America, one of the largest construction industry trade groups, presented their annual awards at ConExpo this past week. 15 HCSS Customers, small, medium, and large across 6 different construction categories, received a Construction Safety Excellence Award (CSEA) from the AGC. Nominees had to present their case to a panel of judges at the AGC Annual Health & Safety Conference, and that panel then selected the Top 3 contractors in each of 6 categories and up to 5 different company sizes based on their work hours (WH) performed.
"We're thrilled to see so many of our customers awarded as 2023 AGC Construction Safety Excellence Awards winners and recognized as a construction company that excels at safety performance,” said Kishan Patel, Vice President of Product at HCSS. “These companies are pioneers in their transformation towards a safety culture, and we are proud to be their partners by helping them address risky behaviors to prevent future incidents. It is great to see members of the AGC Safety & Health Committee acknowledge their commitment to construction safety."

About the AGC Construction Safety Excellence Awards (CSEA)
As stated on the AGC website, the purpose of the CSEA is, “to recognize those construction companies who excel at safety performance. The CSEA closely examines each candidate's commitment to safety and occupational health management and risk control. Unlike other safety award programs that limit the criteria to frequency rates, the CSEA selection process is considerably more comprehensive.”
