The Transbay Bus Ramp was built as a part of the Transbay Transit Center in downtown San Francisco. Nicholson Construction worked in extremely tight quarters under a time-sensitive schedule with multiple contractors to construct load-bearing barrettes for the bus ramp.
What makes it interesting?
The Transbay Bus Ramp will eventually accommodate more than 100,000 passengers each weekday and up to 45 million people per year.
How HCSS Software assisted with this project
HeavyBid helped Nicholson remain organized while putting together the components for the estimate. It gave them a realistic number to win the project.
