Premier Earthworks & Infrastructure, Inc. (PEI) recently completed a Park-N-Ride project for the Regional Transportation District in Denver, CO that consisted of an asphalt/concrete parking lot, bus facility, driver relief stations and multiple site work improvements. This project was constructed on land that was once used for Denver’s former airport (Stapleton), prior to Denver International Airport being constructed.
What makes it interesting?
During construction, PEI encountered multiple unknown abandoned utilities from the previous airport utilities that were not shown on the construction drawings. Additional removals were required.
How HCSS Software assisted with this project
During this project, HeavyJob allowed PEI to accurately track quantities of unknown abandoned utilities removed and time/equipment associated with the removals. Due to the mass quantities discovered and extended time involved, HeavyJob helped reduce administrative time tracking the change.
