(upbeat motivational electronic music) - Hi, my name is John, and today what I'm gonna show you is our HeavyJob Manager system, and the ability that you have to view Daily Digest, straight from your web-based application. So, what you're looking at is our HeavyJob dashboard. And again, I can see all of my projects, my active projects, I can see all of my cost types down here at the bottom, but I can go into my Daily Digest, and I can see anything that's been reported to me from the folks in the field, actually doing the work. So, as I scroll through this, I can see, you know, I had a piece of equipment that broke down, I had material theft, I had material delays.
All of that's coming to me, so that I don't now have to go to the job site and burn up the road, putting 30-40,000 miles a year on my truck just to find out the information that's coming to me using a system like HeavyJob. So, as I scroll, I can see any kind of pictures that have come in from the field. And, then I can look at more detailed annotations, and any notes that have been submitted to me. So, red I could have as a safety issue, I could have, you know, this indicator here, "16 feet," that's going to be something that, maybe it's a change order and I need to bill for that change order.
And, then I've got this green, where, you know, I had to move a fire hydrant four feet, for example, and I'm just going to eat the cost on that. But, it is going to affect, you know, my margins and my productions. So, as I go through this, I can also review my time. I can see all of the time cards that have been submitted, whether I do it daily or I do it weekly.
And, I can look at this and I can make edits on the fly. So, as you see, I've hovered over this thing and I can look at the production numbers. If I want to reject this, I could say something like, "I don't like these production numbers." And, then as soon as I do that, and I send something over to the folks in the field, then they're going to get a notification saying that I need, that they need to edit their production numbers, but I can also do it for them.
So, if I want to be a nice person, and I want to hit the revise button, and I want to go and I want to fix this for them, that's not gonna be a problem either. (motivational electronic music) (keyboard buttons click) Updating the quantity, click "Save." And, there we go. We've now updated this, I'm going to go ahead and I'm going to approve it, and I'm going to send it to the next level of approval.
We can do three levels of approval. So, you could do foreman to PM, to accounting, but at the end of the day, what we need to do is we need to get this as right as it can be before we send it over to the accounting folks. And, then the accounting folks are going to look at it with their own lens. They're going to say, "How many people had less than 30 hours?"
"How many people had more than 50 hours?" Those types of things. And, they're going to run this process from their perspective. But, what we'll do is we'll actually set up templates.
I've got "Viewpoint" selected, but we integrate with about 95 different accounting systems. So, we'll set up these templates in a way that your accounting system wants to do the import, and then we've got all of these ready to go. So, to summarize, what you've seen today is how you can very quickly and easily look at the Daily Digest from all of the entry notes coming in from the field, how you can approve or reject timecards, and review production. And, then you can ultimately get this over to your accounting people who will then take the process from there.
